In Occasionally, for no apparent reason, the Gnome theme is not applied when I log on. After some research I discovered that it was related to the daemon gnome-settings-daemon. Apparently, it does not start or crashes sometimes. To remedy this, just run a command "gnome-settings-daemon" in terminal. To refresh the icons of any office, you must close all instances of Nautilus to automatically restart the desktop with a command "pkill nautilus".
